How to Tell if Your Skin is Really Healthy

The Secret to Beautiful Skin:
Healthy skin not only looks and feels beautiful, it also heals quickly, flexible to the touch, has small pores, appears dewy and isn’t in need of constant hydration. Healthy skin is even in color, free from breakouts and dryness, and has a smooth cushiony texture.

Are Your Wrinkles Normal?
20’s
    What's normal:
Skin should be largely wrinkle-free in your twenties. If you have facial wrinkling before age 30, you’ve had too much sun, period.
   How to keep it healthy:
Drink plenty of water and get enough sleep. Wear SPF 30 every day- and if you smoke, quit now to prevent premature aging.
30’s
   What's normal:
After age 30, a little crinkling around the eyes and light creases begin to appear in the forehead.
  How to keep it healthy:
Protecting your face with SPF 30 or higher at all times is still a must. You can also plump up your skin with a moisturizer morning and night.
40’s
   What's normal:
Horizontal forehead creases often start appearing in your late thirties and early forties. You may see deeper lines between your cheeks and mouth and more puffiness around the eyes.
   How to keep it healthy:
Exfoliation and microdermabrasion creams can help repair the damage

How to Create the Perfect Brow for Your Face Shape

Face Shape
Here are some tips that will help you decide your face shape.

Round Face: Your face is nearly as wide as it is long and your cheeks are the widest part of your face.
Oval Face: You have very defined cheekbones and your forehead is wider than your chin.
Heart Face: Similar to an oval shape, but you have a wider forehead and a less prominent chin.
Long Face: Your cheekbones, forehead, and jaw are the same width, and you have a defined chin.

Creating Perfect Eyebrow Shapes
Now that you have decided your face shape, follow these guidelines.

Round Face: If you have a round face, you'll want to tone down the curviness by creating a high arch in your brow. This will draw the eye up and down, creating the illusion of a longer face shape.
Oval Face: As a makeup artists, I enjoy playing with eyebrows in this instance because this is the preferred face shape. While you're safe to experiment, a soft angled style is your best bet.
Heart Face: Creating perfect eyebrow shapes can do wonders for your look. In this case, you'll want to use your brows to help minimize sharp angles in your face. Create curves with a rounded brow. This will give a softer more feminine appearance to the face.
Long Face: If your face is long, you'll want to style your eyebrows so that your face appears shorter. You can do that with a flatter brow shape. The horizontal shape will keep the eye moving across and not up and down.

At-Home Maintenance
After you've seen a professional, you should be able to maintain your arches by following basic beauty tips at home. Follow the original shape and tweez the few stray hairs that grow in.   As a rule of thumb, you should visit your brow stylist every four weeks.
